Weekday Football Game Protocol

Applies to: Faculty (including part-time and visiting faculty), postdoctoral scholars, staff and students (including graduate/undergraduate student workers and graduate assistants) employed by University of Southern California and its subsidiaries including Keck Medicine of USC (“USC employees”).  This policy continues to apply to individuals on sabbatical, other leaves or while visiting other institutions.

2. Policy Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to establish the university’s expectations regarding the management of weekday football games and establish expected behaviors of fans that attend the event

3. Scope and Application

This policy is intended be used by faculty, staff, and students on the University Park Campus to assist in preparing for games that do not take place on a Saturday.

The University of Southern California’s (“USC”) participation in the Pacific-12 Conference (Pac-12 Conference), require the University to participate in football games on a weekday on occasion. In these instances, the University is committed to ensuring that its primary mission—education, research and patient care is minimally disrupted.
