All faculty, staff, students, contractors or visitors are expected to comply with university policy, which is posted on the official university policy website.
In order to be official university policy, a policy must bear the signature of the President, the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Senior Vice President for Administration, the Senior Vice President for Human Resources, or the Senior Vice President for Finance. Official university policies may also be established by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
Policies are subject to change at any time. In the event of a conflict between a university policy and a school or department policy, the university policy will supersede. Schools or departments may not maintain text on any websites they manage that purports to be university policy. Instead, schools or departments wishing to reference university policy should provide links to the official university policy website, where all authorized university policies will be kept available, up-to-date and secure, under the oversight of the Senior Vice President for Human Resources.
